About the Role

Eaton Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Project Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our ES AMER PCS division, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the commercial and technical aspects of project orders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Proactively manage and coordinate project orders from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of project commitments.
  2. Commercial Integrity: Maintain the commercial integrity of assembled-to-order projects, including reviewing and understanding customer purchase order requirements, ensuring system data integrity, and maintaining financial control measures.
  3. Communication: Communicate effectively with project managers, plants, credit, field sales, and other relevant internal departments to ensure accurate, on-time delivery of project commitments.
  4. Leadership: Lead project meetings and provide guidance to team members to ensure that project objectives are understood and met.
  5. Customer Service: Communicate directly with the assigned customer base regarding the status of orders, shipment schedule, invoicing, etc.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or Certified Engineering Technologist Diploma from an accredited institution or college.
  2. Experience: Three (3) years' experience in the electrical distribution field, managing the commercial, transactional, and technical facet of projects.
  3. Language: Bilingual in English and French (will be required to communicate fluently in French with customers and sales team and in English with all other supporting functions).
  4. Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  5. Residency: Must currently reside within 80km of the posted working locations to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Project Management Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of single line diagram and power distribution knowledge.
