About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our team at Park Insurance. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, providing expert advice and guidance on their insurance needs, and driving business growth through sales and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new business and grow existing relationships with clients
    • Conduct in-person and telephone sales to identify and meet the insurance needs of clients and prospects
    • Work with a team to establish and achieve sales targets and business growth objectives
  • Customer Service and Support:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
    • Review and analyze client insurance needs, identifying opportunities to provide additional products and services
    • Process client applications, renewals, and endorsements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines
  • Insurance Expertise and Knowledge:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices in personal lines insurance
    • Develop and maintain expertise in insurance products and services, including auto, home, and other personal lines insurance
    • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on their insurance needs and options
  • Team Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and business growth objectives
    • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience:
    • Hold a minimum Level 1 Insurance Broker licence in British Columbia
    • At least 3 years of experience in selling personal lines insurance
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong sales and business development skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and EPIC Applied Systems
