About the RoleThis is a permanent position requiring 35 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing potential client markets, calculating premiums, and establishing client insurance coverage.
Key Responsibilities- Assess potential institutional, business, or individual client markets
- Calculate premiums and establish client insurance coverage
- Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations, and other policy requirements are completed
- Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries
- Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, risk coverage, benefits paid, and policy features
- Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft, and other types of insurance
- Provincial or territorial licence
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, youth employment, or Indigenous people
This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
