Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Quesada Burritos & Tacos. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation

Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to our high standards.

Inventory Management

Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet demand.

Quality Control

Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.

Financial Management

Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.

Customer Service

Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers receive excellent service.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.

Reporting

Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Work Scheduling

Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Hours

35 to 40 hours per week.
