Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Surface Specialist to join our team at Pacific Coast Concrete Restoration and Waterproofing Ltd.. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and safety in all aspects of concrete finishing.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years in concrete finishing
Work Environment

The position involves working in a dusty environment, requiring physical stamina and resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials
  • Fill voids and eliminate imperfections on freshly poured concrete
  • Utilize power vibrators for effective concrete compaction
  • Ensure the top surface of concrete is leveled according to specified grades and depths
  • Achieve the desired finish on concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and various fixtures
  • Apply hardening and sealing agents to cure concrete surfaces
  • Waterproof, damp-proof, and restore concrete surfaces
  • Repair, resurface, and replace deteriorated sections of concrete structures
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
  • Capable of lifting heavy loads
  • Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Strong attention to detail and sound discrimination
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
Tools and Equipment
  • Must possess steel-toed safety boots
  • Hard hat is required
