About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Clear Coast Concrete Ltd. as a Surface Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Concrete Finishing: Impart desired finishes to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Installation and Repair: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company standards and specifications.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials for projects, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working at heights on scaffolding or swing stages.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
