We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and ensure they are properly sealed.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to prevent water damage and ensure a long-lasting finish.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Handling heavy loads and working at heights.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Sound discrimination and ability to work in a noisy environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and hard hat required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependability and ability to meet deadlines.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week with occasional overtime as required.
