We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Clear Coast Concrete Ltd.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces, working closely with our team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
- Prepare tenders and quotations to estimate costs and materials
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surfaces according to grade and depth specifications
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to install anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures
- Impart desired finishes to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate work
- Physically demanding work environment requiring handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
- Bending, crouching, and kneeling are essential tasks
- Attention to detail and sound discrimination are critical for success
- Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Team player with a strong focus on client satisfaction
