We are seeking a skilled Butcher - Meat Cutter to join our team at 11752472 Canada Inc. as a key member of our meat processing department.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Prepare Meats: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring high-quality products for our customers.
- Cut and Trim Meats: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, as well as prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
- Wrap and Package Meats: Wrap and package prepared meats for sale, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Remove Bones and Weigh Meats: Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Price and Sell Meats: Price meat products and sell them to customers, providing excellent customer service.
- Clean and Prepare Fish and Shellfish: Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
- Supervise and Train: Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers, as well as train new team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
