We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at 11752472 Canada Inc. as a Meat Cutter in a retail setting.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Prepare Meats: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring high-quality products for our customers.
- Cut and Trim Meats: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, as well as trim and prepare standard cuts of meat.
- Prepare Special Cuts: Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers, including cutting, trimming, and wrapping.
- Wrap and Package Meats: Wrap and package prepared meats for sale, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Remove Bones and Weigh Meats: Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Price Meat Products: Price meat products, maintaining a thorough understanding of pricing strategies and promotions.
- Clean and Prepare Fish and Shellfish: Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Sell Meats to Customers: Sell meats to customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Cut Fish into Steaks and Fillets: Cut fish into steaks and fillets, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
- Supervise and Train: Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers, as well as train meat cutters to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Prepare Special Displays: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
- Shape, Lace, and Tie Meats: Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood, ensuring a high level of presentation and quality.
