About the Role

The Operations and Planning team at Intact is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Owner to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and prioritizing customer document services, integrating with our new policy management system, and maintaining the latter through small queries or production problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary agile team from idea generation to execution.
  • Direct, plan, and monitor the product in all phases of the life cycle from the beginning of the project to its introduction on the market.
  • Be responsible for the evolution of the product.
  • Partner with teams and managers to gather requirements and facilitate projects.
  • Manage inter-team dependencies and ensure alignment with other Product Owners.
  • Manage inter-project priority conflicts and small requests.
  • Approve monthly releases and ensure a high level of quality.
  • Prepare user stories and manage the backlog, creating value for both the company and our representatives.
  • Plan, facilitate demonstrations, and participate in committees and retrospectives.
  • Ensure that products create a high level of engagement and exceed our customers' expectations.
  • Ensure product delivery based on roadmaps.
  • Integrate customer feedback and insights from performance measurement into product roadmaps.
  • Act as an expert in product development and innovation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in product creation and delivery, team or project coordination.
  • Very good knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Knowledge of tools (Jira, Teams, Confluence, etc.).
  • CSPO or PSPO certification.
  • Ability to deliver impactful presentations and workshop facilitation.
  • Ability to guide a team, lead scrums, and do prioritization workshops.
  • Proven skills in project planning and management.
  • Very good understanding of the technical aspects related to design and development.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
