About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Owner to join our Data and Analytics team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and prioritizing the product backlog strategically, ensuring that our data and analytics products meet the needs of our business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, scope, schedule, budget, and capacity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision and roadmap.
- Develop and maintain product backlog items, including scope, operational requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor development progress and communicate statuses with stakeholders.
- Validate that operational requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
- Motivate the team to deliver high-quality products and create business value.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor their achievement.
- Collaborate with management on resource planning.
- Ensure user training documentation is sufficient, useful, and up-to-date.
Requirements
- College diploma or bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
- More than 3 years of experience as a product owner in a data-driven environment.
- Understanding of data warehouse development and business intelligence tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile development processes and best practices.
- Strong analytical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
