About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Owner to join our Data and Analytics team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and prioritizing the product backlog strategically, ensuring that our data and analytics products meet the needs of our business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, scope, schedule, budget, and capacity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision and roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it is up-to-date and aligned with business objectives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that product requirements are met and that the product is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and report on product performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and product managers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data and analytics, applying this knowledge to improve our products and services.

Requirements

  • College diploma or bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a product owner in a data-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse development and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
