We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Sushiyama Japanese Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to order, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Cuisine Specialties: Prepare and cook Japanese cuisine dishes to a high standard, using traditional techniques and ingredients.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Language: English.
- Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
