Position Overview:
The Director of Marketing for HIV/AIDS will spearhead the formulation and implementation of the strategic business framework for the HIV/AIDS sector. This role encompasses the tactical execution and overall promotion of the HIV portfolio, which includes both treatment and prevention initiatives. You will oversee the lifecycle management of HIV/AIDS products and support the introduction of new therapies and indications within this domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities to guide a cross-functional therapeutic team and senior marketing professionals.
  2. Exhibit proficiency in performance management, strategic planning, prioritization, and execution of objectives.
  3. Leverage diverse information sources, including market research and competitive intelligence, to derive insights that inform franchise strategy and tactical initiatives.
  4. Contribute to the development of the overall Brand Plan and Promotional Plan for HIV/AIDS.
  5. Direct the creation of tactical plans, messaging strategies, and customer initiatives aligned with the field sales objectives.
  6. Oversee the execution of the field sales plan, including the development of sales tools and coordination with training efforts.
  7. Possess strong communication skills, capable of presenting effectively and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  8. Exhibit strong organizational skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  9. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and consensus among diverse teams.
  10. Maintain a strong executive presence, making sound business judgments and decisions.
  11. Showcase expertise in project management, adeptly handling multiple priorities.
  12. Manage complex budgets with a keen understanding of revenue forecasting.
  13. Build and nurture external relationships that enhance brand advocacy.
  14. Possess a proven track record in direct-to-patient marketing within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
  15. Demonstrate proficiency in e-Marketing and the ability to translate brand goals into effective digital strategies.
  16. Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of digital media landscapes.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  2. A bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is required.
  3. Advanced experience in product lifecycle management is preferred.
  4. An advanced degree such as an MD, PharmD, PhD, or an MBA is desirable.
  5. Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical product lifecycle management across various therapeutic areas is preferred.
  6. Prior experience in people management is strongly preferred.
  7. A minimum of 3 years in product marketing or advertising focused on consumers or patients is required.
  8. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  9. Experience in e-Marketing is essential.
