Position Overview

The Culinary Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities within the food service department at KT Timberlea Ltd. This role involves managing staff, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Education Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods to achieve work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff regarding job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food quality and service meet established standards.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Prepare and submit relevant reports.
  • Oversee the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervision of a team ranging from 5 to 10 individuals.

Security and Safety Requirements
  • Must be bondable.
  • Basic security clearance is required.
Transportation Requirements

Own transportation is necessary for this position.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-paced work environment.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.

This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 35 hours per week, conducted in English.
