The Culinary Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of food preparation and service within a dynamic environment. This role requires a strong focus on quality control and customer satisfaction.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
- Expect a lively atmosphere with exposure to various odours and a humid environment.
- Conditions may include heat and noise typical of a busy kitchen.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff regarding their roles, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on operations.
- Oversee the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
Security and Safety- Must be bondable and possess basic security clearance.
- Personal transportation is required for this position.
- Work in a fast-paced environment requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Attention to detail is crucial in this role.
- Strong client focus and flexibility are essential.
- Must be a team player, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Preferred candidates will have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 35 hours per week, with English as the primary working language.
