Position Overview

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our dining establishment. This position requires a blend of leadership, culinary knowledge, and customer service skills to ensure a high-quality dining experience for our guests.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to team members on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the culinary styles offered by the establishment.
  • Supervise the assembly of food trays to ensure presentation and accuracy.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This role involves supervising a team of 3-4 individuals, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.

Work Environment
  • Fast-paced working conditions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods is required.
Personal Attributes

Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role is preferred.
