Part-Time Property Leasing Specialist

We are currently looking for a Leasing Consultant to support our operations. The Leasing Consultant will work under the guidance of the Regional Manager and will be tasked with the leasing management of a portfolio of properties.

As part of the property management team, the primary duties of the Leasing Consultant include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all residential leasing inquiries through various communication channels while ensuring timely and courteous responses.
  • Schedule and conduct property showings in a manner that accommodates prospective tenants.
  • Notify current tenants of scheduled appointments, ensuring minimal disruption to their living experience.
  • Conduct property tours and showcase available rental units to interested applicants.
  • Process rental applications, ensuring that potential tenants meet the company’s standards and are suitable neighbors.
  • Prepare applications for the Property Manager’s review and approval.
  • Maintain comprehensive records including reports on property availability, traffic statistics, and market surveys.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including updates to the company website and promotional materials.
  • Be flexible with work hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, with prior experience in office administration.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and its importance in the leasing process.
  • Familiarity with the Residential Tenancies Act and related regulations is considered an asset.
