We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist - CNC Specialist to join our team at Canadian Precision Products Corp. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our CNC machine tools to produce high-precision parts.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and Maintain CNC Machine Tools: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce precision parts.
- Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Maintain high-quality standards by verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
- Document and Report: Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, and maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient production and meet production deadlines.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a CNC machining role.
- Certifications: Machinist Trade Certification.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work accurately and efficiently, and excellent communication skills.
This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
