Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Pet Valu. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, ensuring a smooth and efficient store operation.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve merchandising displays.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor stock, and ensure accurate ordering and receiving procedures.
  • Team Management: Supervise and develop a team of sales associates, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure store environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
