At Lilly, we are committed to improving lives globally. We are currently seeking a seasoned Oncology Sales Consultant to enhance our Oncology product offerings.

Role Overview

This position requires a proactive individual with established connections in key Oncology institutions and influential figures throughout Canada, particularly in Ontario.

Territory: Ontario

Travel Requirements: Expect 50-70% travel across the province, including occasional overnight stays.

The consultant will be pivotal in providing exceptional customer service by recognizing essential needs and delivering tailored solutions at both the account and national levels. This role involves shaping the landscape to facilitate access to and utilization of Lilly's Oncology therapies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams to enhance access and appropriate use of Lilly Oncology products through a value-driven interaction approach.
  • Deliver timely and relevant product information and services.
  • Cultivate a positive image for Lilly Oncology within major institutions.
  • Support cross-functional teams in engaging thought leaders for commercial strategies.
  • Build trusting relationships with national and regional thought leaders and other key stakeholders, addressing their needs effectively.
  • Collect insights and utilize sales performance data, formulary considerations, and competitive intelligence to identify challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders and internal teams while adhering to ethical, compliance, and documentation standards.
  • Maintain relationships with clients through both digital and face-to-face interactions.
  • Innovate customer engagement strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree in a scientific field is highly desirable.
  • Established relationships with key Oncology centers and clinicians, particularly in Ontario.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oncology, especially in breast, thyroid, and lung cancers, as well as precision medicine.
  • Ability to effectively engage with thought leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success as a high-performing customer-facing professional in a virtual environment.
  • Strong business insight to identify opportunities through data analysis and develop strategic solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong collaborative skills.
  • Aptitude for navigating complex and dynamic environments while managing time and competing priorities.
