Job Title: Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at St. Mary's Bay Fisheries Inc. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our staff and ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to our staff, including typing, proofreading, and preparing documents.
  • Communication: Respond to telephone and electronic enquiries, and provide general information to clients and the public.
  • Data Entry: Enter data into our database and maintain accurate records.
  • Office Management: Maintain a clean and organized office environment, including ordering supplies and managing inventory.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
