Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Vice-President of Medical Billing Operations, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our medical billing function. We are looking for a candidate who is performance-driven and genuinely committed to enhancing client satisfaction, orchestrating operational strategies, and inspiring effective team management. Your role will also involve nurturing positive customer relationships, streamlining billing processes, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

In your daily activities, you will:

  • Design and execute plans for medical billing operations that align with organizational objectives;
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to provide insights, recommendations, and updates on performance metrics;
  • Lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment;
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities for team members;
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and establish clear performance expectations;
  • Promote a customer-centric culture within the team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction;
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues efficiently;
  • Oversee and refine medical billing processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency;
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement solutions to improve overall operational performance;
  • Monitor and manage operational performance metrics;
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and cross-functional teams to align billing operations with broader business goals.

Candidate Profile

Are you a dynamic leader recognized for your ability to drive performance and foster a culture of excellence? If you possess:

  • A degree in business administration, accounting, healthcare management, or a related field;
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in customer operations, with a strong background in medical billing operations;
  • A proven track record of effectively leading teams and achieving performance targets;
  • Experience in the SaaS or technology-enabled service industry;
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills;
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A results-oriented and performance-driven mindset;
  • A client-focused approach with a deep understanding of customer needs;
  • The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Knowledge of medical billing processes and regulations (preferred);
  • Proficiency in both English and French (spoken, written, and read) is required due to regular interactions with English-speaking colleagues and clients.
