Role Overview

As a pivotal member of our team, reporting directly to the Vice-President of Medical Billing Operations, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our medical billing operations. We are looking for a candidate who is not only results-driven but also passionate about enhancing client satisfaction, orchestrating operational strategies, and leading effective team management.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily activities will include:

  • Formulating and executing plans for medical billing operations that align with organizational objectives;
  • Collaborating with executive leadership to deliver insights, recommendations, and performance updates;
  • Leading a high-performing team while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment;
  • Facilitating professional development opportunities for team members;
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations and establishing clear performance expectations;
  • Instilling a customer-centric culture within the team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction;
  • Creating and implementing initiatives to enhance the customer experience and address issues promptly;
  • Overseeing and refining medical billing processes to guarantee accuracy, compliance, and efficiency;
  • Identifying areas for process enhancement and implementing solutions to boost overall operational performance;
  • Monitoring and managing operational performance metrics;
  • Collaborating effectively with other departments and cross-functional teams to align billing operations with broader business goals.

Candidate Profile

Are you a dynamic leader with a proven ability to drive performance and foster a culture of excellence? If you possess:

  • A degree in business administration, accounting, healthcare management, or a related field;
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in customer operations, particularly in medical billing operations;
  • A strong track record of leading teams and achieving performance targets;
  • Experience in the SaaS or technology-enabled service industry;
  • Exceptional leadership and people management capabilities;
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on performance;
  • A client-focused approach with a deep understanding of customer needs;
  • The adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Knowledge of medical billing processes and regulations (an asset);
  • Proficiency in both English and French (spoken, written, and read) due to regular interactions with English-speaking colleagues and clients.
