League Operations Supervisor

The Toronto Flag Football League is a premier non-contact flag football organization dedicated to providing an inclusive environment for all football enthusiasts. Our mission is to deliver a safe, enjoyable, and engaging experience for every participant, fostering a professional atmosphere within a recreational framework to maximize the value of league membership.
Position Overview
The League Operations Supervisor will play a pivotal role in expanding our operational capabilities, implementing and managing processes, and ensuring the seamless execution of all league seasons and special events. This position is crucial for propelling the league's growth by optimizing efficiency and operational performance.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine processes for the planning and execution of events and league activities
- Standardize protocols for scheduling and staffing across all programs and events
- Enhance inventory oversight and procurement of league equipment
- Supervise and support the Administrative Coordinator
- Manage venue logistics, including permits, field preparation, setup, and teardown
- Assess and implement software solutions to boost operational productivity
- Assist the Director of Football Operations in recruitment and coordination of school events
- Collaborate with the Director of Football Operations to identify and explore growth opportunities
- Engage with external partners, including graphic designers and advertising agencies, to ensure effective promotion of leagues and events
- Establish and nurture relationships with community partners, educational institutions, and other organizations
- Collect and address feedback from league participants and their families
Essential Qualifications:
- Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities
- Experience in operations management or a related discipline
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management
- Capacity to analyze processes and implement enhancements
- Proficiency in scheduling and management software
- Strong skills in Excel and general computer literacy
- Familiarity with sports league operations is advantageous
Work Schedule:
The standard work hours will be from 9am to 5pm, primarily working remotely. During league seasons and events, attendance at the field or event will be required, necessitating adjustments to regular office hours to accommodate these responsibilities.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary commensurate with experience, paid bi-weekly
- Two weeks of vacation with a flexible work schedule
