**Salary Range**: $55,000 - 85,000
THE BUSINESSES
Canadian Soccer Business (CSB) represents a suite of top-tier national corporate partnerships and media rights assets that are core to the sport of soccer in Canada. This includes Canada Soccer’s National Teams, along with all rights and operations associated with the Canadian Premier League (CPL). The CPL is Canada’s Tier 1 domestic men’s professional soccer league playing in the global FIFA ecosystem of competitions currently operating 8 clubs in cities coast to coast.
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and personable Executive Assistant to join the integrated Canadian Soccer Business and Canadian Premier League team. In this role, you will be the Executive Assistant to multiple senior Executives of the combined entity including the Commissioner of the Canadian Premier League. In addition, this position will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative and clerical responsibilities of our office.
You are an administrative professional who is passionate about making a difference, loves sport, and takes pride in their work, whatever the task. You are adept at handling a variety of operations in the office, from executive-level support to supporting colleagues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the front office and greet and direct all guests with a high level of customer service;
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies and procedures;
- Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for multiple senior Executives;
- Handle highly confidential matters relating to the daily activity of senior Executives;
- Manage and maintain office space including office supplies, telephone system, courier, kitchen supplies, light kitchen duties and other administrative functions
- Assist colleagues on special projects when necessary;
- Maintain office environment services by organizing and developing office operations and procedures;
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
- Organize and arrange Board Meetings including Agendas and Pre-reads;
- Manage relationships with third-party IT vendor
- Liaise with office building management
- Assist in formatting optimal office layout and leasehold improvement requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in an office setting as an office administrator, office/executive assistant or relevant role;
- Calendar and expense management skills;
- Travel booking and coordination experience (domestic and international);
- Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal;
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Google and Microsoft suite;
- Strong attention to detail with editing and proof-reading skills;
- Strong time management skills;
- Strong documentation and electronic filing skills required;
- Experience supporting multiple senior Executives in a demanding environment with often tight deadlines;
- Mature, proactive, and outgoing;
- Professionalism, tact, and diplomacy;
- Ability to work in dynamic, changing, and team-oriented environment;
- Go-getter with an ambitious attitude;
- Independent operator requiring mínimal direction and supervision to be effective in the role;
- Experience in project management or hospitality would be beneficial
- A passion for the game of soccer in Canada would be considered an asset.
