Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Improvement Engagements: Support process improvement initiatives using Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop solutions to drive operational efficiency and excellence.
  • Project Management: Translate business challenges into improvement ideas and manage project timelines to ensure successful implementation.
  • Process Development: Assist in the development and implementation of new processes to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Process Mapping: Develop process maps to identify areas for improvement and measure business benefits.
  • Automation Solutions: Use automation tools to develop solutions for business challenges and provide ongoing support.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Initiatives: Promote and support existing Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and optimize business processes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of process improvements.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on process improvement initiatives and outcomes to senior management.
  • System Support: Provide system, process, analysis, and tactical support for business system enhancements.
  • Claim Reconciliation: Conduct service-letter claim reconciliation, reporting, and ongoing projections.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Post-secondary degree in Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience managing projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Skills: Lean or Six Sigma training (Green Belt preferred), proficiency in SQL, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
