Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to our office, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Policy Administration: Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Training and Development: Train staff on new procedures and policies.
  • Office Operations: Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, including payroll administration.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflict situations in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • You must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or a temporary resident of Canada.
  • You must have a valid Canadian work permit.
