About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Supervisor to join our team at Tomato E-commerce Inc. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless customer service delivery
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure that customer service standards are met
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that customer service materials are readily available
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, such as housing, transportation, and storage
  • Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, such as facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training
  • Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans
  • Offer mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Veterans
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans
  • Recruit Veterans and other candidates with military experience through targeted hiring initiatives
  • Assist with immediate transition needs of Veterans, such as relocation and housing
  • Offer workshops, counselling services or other resources to help Veterans navigate their transition into the civilian workforce
  • Support Veterans in translating their military skills and experience into the language of the civilian job market
  • Offer flexible onboarding options to allow Veterans to gradually adapt to the civilian workplace
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
  • Offer mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations
  • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
  • Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination
  • Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers
  • Offer mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for mature workers
  • Offer phased retirement options that allow mature workers to gradually reduce their workload
  • Offer phased re-entry options for mature workers who are returning to work after retiring
  • Provide workspace accommodations, such as age-appropriate ergonomic considerations, to meet the physical needs of mature workers
  • Offer resources to help mature workers plan their retirement
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
