About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at HRV Construction Ltd. as a key member of our finishing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Wall Covering and Finishing: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a professional finish.
  • Customer Service: Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings, providing expert guidance.
  • Scaffolding and Rigging: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan accordingly.
