We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to contribute to the Labour & Delivery unit within a leading healthcare organization.
This role involves providing exceptional nursing care to expectant mothers and their families, as well as to other medical/surgical patients. The ideal candidate will be a vital part of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of care and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive perinatal nursing services through thorough assessments and individualized care plans. Improve the quality of life for patients and their families. Collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care. Engage in continuous professional development and apply best practices in nursing. Maintain and enhance personal clinical skills and knowledge. Participate in relevant committees and research initiatives as assigned.Community Insights

Qualifications
Education & Experience
Valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the appropriate regulatory body. Completion of an advanced nursing specialty program in perinatal care or a minimum of two years of relevant experience.Skills & Competencies
Extensive knowledge of nursing principles and practices focused on patient-centered care. Familiarity with the standards of nursing practice as outlined by the regulatory body. Proven ability to develop and implement effective care plans. Strong assessment skills to evaluate patient responses and adapt care accordingly. Capability to navigate unexpected situations, prioritize tasks, and resolve conflicts. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues. Competence in providing education and support to patients and their families. Leadership qualities to mentor and guide new staff and students. Proficiency in clinical techniques and the use of relevant medical equipment.
