Lodging House Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lodging House Manager to join our team at JEMCORP Ltd. as a key member of our resort operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures
Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Supervise StaffSupervise a team of 3-4 staff members in various areas of responsibility, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent performance and customer satisfaction.
Negotiate with SuppliersNegotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies, ensuring the best possible prices and quality.
Conduct Training SessionsConduct training sessions for staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
Prepare Budgets and Monitor Revenues and ExpensesPrepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring the resort operates within budget and meets financial targets.
Prepare Marketing PlansPrepare marketing plans to promote the resort and attract new customers, ensuring a strong online presence and effective marketing campaigns.
Implement Marketing ActivitiesImplement marketing activities, including social media marketing, email marketing, and event marketing, to engage with customers and promote the resort.
Arrange for and Oversee Maintenance ActivitiesArrange for and oversee maintenance activities, ensuring the resort's facilities and equipment are well-maintained and in good working order.
Enforce Policies and ProceduresEnforce policies and procedures, ensuring staff members adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Address Customers' Complaints or ConcernsAddress customers' complaints or concerns, ensuring excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Assist Clients/Guests with Special NeedsAssist clients/guests with special needs, ensuring their requirements are met and they have an excellent experience at the resort.
Develop and Implement Business PlansDevelop and implement business plans, ensuring the resort operates efficiently and effectively, and meets financial targets.
Establish Work SchedulesEstablish work schedules for staff members, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing overtime.
Manage EventsManage events, including weddings, conferences, and other functions, ensuring excellent customer service and a smooth event experience.
Organize and Maintain InventoryOrganize and maintain inventory, ensuring the resort has the necessary supplies and materials to operate efficiently.
Requirements- Valid Driver's Licence
A valid driver's licence is required, as the resort is located in a rural area and transportation is not readily available.
Public Transportation is Not AvailablePublic transportation is not available, so a reliable vehicle is essential for commuting to and from work.
Fast-Paced EnvironmentThe resort operates in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a large workload.
Work Under PressureStaff members must be able to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a timely and efficient manner.
Attention to DetailAttention to detail is essential, as staff members must ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of their work.
Combination of Sitting, Standing, WalkingThe role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as staff members must be able to move around the resort and perform tasks in different areas.
Overtime RequiredOvertime may be required, as the resort operates 24/7 and staff members must be available to work flexible hours.
