Position Overview

The Food Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our coffee shop, ensuring that all food preparation and service meet our high standards of quality.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Work Environment

This position is based in a dynamic coffee shop setting, where teamwork and efficiency are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Ensure that all food and service adhere to our quality control standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef to streamline operations.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the culinary styles and offerings of the establishment.
Team Management

The supervisor will oversee a team of:

  • 3-4 individuals
  • 5-10 individuals
  • Staff across various areas of responsibility
