  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members, including cooks, food and beverage servers, and kitchen helpers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Service
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment withstanding pressure and standing for extended periods.
    • Perform bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking as required by the job.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Demonstrate excellent oral communication skills and efficient interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and management.
    • Exhibit flexibility and a team player attitude to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Flexibility to work a 32-hour workweek.
