Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth patient flow, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records within our clinic.
Responsibilities- Reception:
- Warmly greet patients and physicians, creating a welcoming environment.
- Obtain necessary patient documentation and ensure accurate information is recorded.
- Assist patients with mobility needs and provide guidance on exam preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a positive first impression for all visitors.
- Efficiently schedule appointments and manage patient flow throughout the clinic.
- Provide administrative support to the clinic team by assisting with reports and other tasks.
- Patient Flow:
- Prepare patients for testing procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience.
- Collaborate with technologists and physicians to support efficient clinic workflow.
- Anticipate patient needs and provide assistance as required.
- Documentation:
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient information, adhering to established protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient records and sensitive information.
- Equipment Operations & Maintenance:
- Operate office equipment proficiently, including computers, printers, and phone systems.
- Report any malfunctions or issues with equipment promptly to ensure timely resolution.
- Adhere to established maintenance guidelines to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Reporting:
- Expedite the processing and distribution of patient reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in handling all patient information.
- Safety:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols within the clinic environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize potential hazards.
- Other:
- Provide support to colleagues as needed, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
We are seeking candidates with:
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- A diploma in Medical Office Administration or a related field.
- Proficiency in computer skills and electronic health record systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks efficiently.
