Job Summary
- Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and their families in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical pathways and protocols.
- Take a leadership role in the coordination of patient care and provide guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent practice with established standards of care, guidelines, and legislation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide care for patients with complex health issues.
- Assist in the orientation of new staff members and students.
- Act as a role model for safe practices in care delivery and promote a culture of safety.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- Current RN Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Three to five years of recent critical care nursing experience.
- BCLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem assessment skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork.
