Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at MyHealth Centre. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reception and Patient Flow: Greet patients, obtain required documentation, and ensure a smooth patient flow.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments, register patients for procedures, and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, filing systems, and ensure timely delivery of reports.
- Equipment Operations and Maintenance: Operate office equipment, report malfunctions, and maintain logbooks for infection prevention and control protocols.
- Reporting and Safety: Ensure patient reports are delivered and distributed expediently, maintain patient confidentiality, and adhere to company and government regulations.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Diploma in Medical Office Administration or related field, 0-2 years of related experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Certifications and Training: CPR and First Aid Certification is encouraged.
