Educational Requirements:
Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.

Experience Requirements:
1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to achieve work schedules.
  2. Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  3. Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, hygiene, and safety protocols.
  4. Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  5. Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  6. Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  7. Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  8. Compile and submit operational reports.
  9. Prepare summaries of food orders for the chef.
  10. Possess knowledge of the culinary styles offered by the establishment.
  11. Supervise the assembly of food trays.
  12. Oversee the delivery of food trolleys.
  13. Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
