This position is set in a fast-paced restaurant atmosphere, where the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement methods to achieve work schedules
- Order food and kitchen supplies as needed
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning
- Train employees on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Estimate the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation
- Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
- Prepare and submit operational reports
- Compile food order summaries for the chef
- Possess knowledge of the culinary styles offered by the establishment
- Oversee the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team
Manage a team of 5-10 staff members.
Safety and SecurityA criminal record check is required for this position.
