About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at MASK INDIAN KITCHEN + BAR INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the high standards of our customers.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to optimize kitchen efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff to ensure exceptional service and quality.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food prepared meets the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Cost Control: Estimate and manage labor costs, food costs, and other expenses to maintain profitability.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Menu Development: Create new recipes and menus to stay ahead of culinary trends and customer preferences.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and presented in a visually appealing manner.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and manage inventory.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead by example.
