Job Title: Patient Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Service Coordinator to join our team at Canadian Orthodontic Partners. As a Patient Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our orthodontic office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive experience for all patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, guardians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate appointments and treatment plans.
  • Manage patient schedules, including booking appointments, rescheduling, and canceling appointments as needed.
  • Process patient payments, manage insurance claims, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, mailings, and other office duties.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the patient lounge and coffee station.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a dental or medical office setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications relevant to the role.
