Position Overview
The Corporate Account Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the Corporate Accounts team in delivering exceptional customer service. This position supports the sales operations for SECURE's waste management and disposal services by collaborating closely with Corporate Account Representatives and field teams. The individual will acquire the necessary skills and experience to eventually manage a designated territory and client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
The duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to:
- Aiding in the preparation of proposals, executing customer Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and managing customer invoicing.
- Cultivating and sustaining essential internal relationships to address customer inquiries and issues promptly.
- Conducting market research for current service offerings.
- Compiling written reports and presentations regarding sales activities and potential opportunities.
- Identifying prospects and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to major clients, utilizing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system throughout the sales process.
- Serving as a liaison among divisions, recognizing integrated sales opportunities, and ensuring that the appropriate divisional representatives are engaged.
- Participating in strategic planning sessions for divisional sales.
- Organizing and executing SECURE-branded customer events, including trade shows and appreciation gatherings.
- Representing SECURE at industry events and functions.
- Establishing a presence within relevant industry networks.
- Traveling within Western Canada as necessary.
- Occasionally being available outside of standard working hours.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 2-5 years of experience in corporate sales or service industries.
- A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and delivering outstanding service.
- A collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Above-average sales, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent writing and grammar skills.
- Proficient proposal writing and presentation capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Some post-secondary education completed.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are considered advantageous:
- Experience in direct customer engagement in a sales or service role.
- Prior experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Sales experience in a B2B environment.
- Established contacts within the oil and gas or environmental sectors.
- Experience in a growth-oriented or entrepreneurial organization.
- Knowledge of regulations pertaining to Remediation, Reclamation, and Drilling Waste.
