We are currently looking for a Financial Accounting Specialist to enhance our operations. This role encompasses a range of financial responsibilities to ensure smooth fiscal procedures at the corporate level, reporting directly to the Assistant Controller.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate and timely posting of invoices and cash transactions, along with follow-up on outstanding payments
  • Conducting monthly bank reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies
  • Processing invoices for various operating entities, ensuring correct general ledger classifications and expense allocations
  • Reviewing and managing employee expense reimbursements with a focus on coding precision
  • Facilitating corporate expense chargebacks and compiling necessary supporting documentation
  • Executing a variety of journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions
  • Preparing GST schedules along with supporting documents for timely submissions
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborating with internal teams to reconcile accounts and address discrepancies
  • Providing coverage for corporate Accounts Payable Administrators during their absences
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by the Assistant Controller
Requirements:
  • Preferred qualification: Accounting Diploma or Degree
  • At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficient in various software applications, including Microsoft Office and accounting systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to foster professional relationships
  • Meticulous attention to detail and effective time management abilities
