Position Overview

The Corporate Account Specialist plays a pivotal role in assisting the Corporate Accounts team to provide exceptional customer service. This position supports the sales initiatives for SECURE's waste management and disposal services by collaborating closely with Corporate Account Representatives and field teams. The individual will acquire the necessary skills and experience to eventually manage a designated territory and specific accounts.

Key Responsibilities

The duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Aid in crafting proposals, executing customer Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and managing customer invoicing.
  • Build and sustain essential internal relationships to effectively address customer inquiries and issues.
  • Conduct market assessments for current service offerings.
  • Compile written reports and presentations detailing sales activities and potential opportunities.
  • Identify growth opportunities and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for major clients, utilizing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system throughout the sales process.
  • Serve as a liaison among divisions, recognizing integrated sales opportunities and ensuring that the appropriate divisional representatives are engaged.
  • Contribute to divisional sales strategy development sessions.
  • Organize and implement SECURE branded customer events, including trade shows and appreciation gatherings.
  • Represent SECURE at industry events and functions.
  • Establish a presence within relevant industry networks.
  • Travel within designated regions as necessary.
  • Be available outside of standard working hours when required.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2-5 years of experience in corporate sales or service sectors.
  • A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and delivering outstanding service.
  • A collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Above-average skills in sales, communication, and interpersonal relations.
  • Excellent writing and grammar proficiency.
  • Strong capabilities in proposal writing and presentation delivery.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Completion of some post-secondary education.

The following attributes are considered advantageous for this role:

  • Experience in direct customer interaction within a sales or service context.
  • Previous exposure to the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Established connections within the oil and gas or environmental sectors.
  • Background in a growth-oriented or entrepreneurial organization.
  • Knowledge of regulations related to Remediation, Reclamation, and Drilling Waste.
