Job Overview

The Corporate Accounts Representative plays a pivotal role in assisting the Corporate Accounts team to provide exceptional customer service. This position supports the sales initiatives for SECURE's waste management and disposal services by collaborating closely with Corporate Accounts Representatives and field teams. The individual will acquire the necessary skills and experience to manage a designated territory and client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

The duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Aid in crafting proposals, executing customer Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and managing customer invoicing.
  • Foster and maintain vital internal relationships to address customer inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Conduct market research for current service offerings.
  • Compile written reports and presentations regarding sales activities and potential opportunities.
  • Identify growth opportunities and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to major clients, utilizing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system throughout the sales process.
  • Serve as a liaison among divisions, pinpoint integrated sales opportunities, and ensure the appropriate divisional representatives are engaged.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions for divisional sales.
  • Organize and execute SECURE-branded customer events, including trade shows and appreciation gatherings.
  • Represent SECURE at industry events and functions.
  • Establish a presence within relevant industry networks.
  • Travel within Western Canada as necessary.
  • Be available outside of standard working hours on occasion.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2-5 years of experience in corporate sales or service sectors.
  • A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and delivering outstanding service.
  • A collaborative working style.
  • Above-average sales, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent grammar and writing proficiency.
  • Strong skills in proposal writing and delivering presentations.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Some post-secondary education completed.

The following qualifications are considered advantageous:

  • Experience in direct customer interaction in a sales or service role.
  • Previous experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Established contacts within the oil and gas or environmental sectors.
  • Experience in a growth-oriented or entrepreneurial organization.
  • Knowledge of regulations pertaining to Remediation, Reclamation, and Drilling Waste.
