The Role

We are looking for experienced sales professionals to drive adoption of our product at Higher Ed institutions, universities, and colleges.

An ideal candidate is a results-driven achiever, effective in a remote work environment, and committed to success and growth with the company.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Craft and execute a territory sales plan to drive product adoption.
  • Present the product to researchers, teaching faculty, and academic librarians, both online and in person.
  • Proactively communicate with clients and users through various channels.
  • Analyze trends and make data-driven decisions to prioritize work.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver on sales targets, team projects, and campaigns.
  • Participate in tradeshows and other marketing activities.

Requirements

  • A college degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in EdTech or Academic Publishing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce and platforms like Hubspot.
  • Confidence in dealing with clients and product users.
  • Self-motivation, initiative, results-oriented, and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • A drive to succeed and a proven ability to overcome challenges.
