Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team at JoVE. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving adoption of our product at Higher Ed institutions, universities, and colleges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Craft and execute a territory sales plan to drive revenue growth.
  • Present our product, online and in-person, to researchers, teaching faculty, and academic librarians.
  • Analyze trends and make data-driven decisions to prioritize work.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver on sales targets, team projects, and campaigns.
  • Attend tradeshows and participate in other marketing activities to promote our product.

Requirements

  • A college degree.
  • ~3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in EdTech or Academic Publishing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in person and online.
  • Experience with Salesforce and platforms such as Hubspot.
  • A competitive compensation package including unlimited commissions on sales.
