At Wood's Homes, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth and Family Counsellor to join our Cottage 3 team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to children, youth, and families in a structured setting.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote the personal and social growth of each client.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to ensure comprehensive support for clients and their families.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to inform treatment plans and ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients and their families, addressing a range of issues including mental health, education, and daily living skills.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as social work, child and youth care, or nursing.
  • Minimum two to four years of experience working with children, youth, and families in a similar role.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation.
