Cottage 1 Counsellor Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counsellor to join our Cottage 1 team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support and guidance to children, youth, and families in a structured setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain a safe and supportive environment that fosters personal and social growth for each client.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, supervisory sessions, and in-service training to ensure best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans in collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide transportation, meal preparation, and cleaning services as needed to support program functioning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the program.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as Social Sciences, Child and Youth Care, or Social Work.
  • Minimum two to four years of experience working with children, youth, and families.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation.
